A Big Rock

Found this big 6 foot tall rock that Danzig jumped right onto while we were out for a walk.

I remember when he was little I would try and convince him to climb onto rocks so I could take a cute picture like I saw others posting on the SSDCA SSF forum.

I guess he's just telling me he's all grown up now a dumb rock isn't scary anymore.

What a smart Shiloh he is huh!

A walk on the 4X4 Trail

We went for a walk on the Tahuya 4X4 Trail when we were over in the Belfair area for a bike race.

The place was deserted which was great for us explorers. It would have been fun to see some rigs navigating some of the technical rocks piles though.

Danzig bounded all over the place.

Going Topless

It was a nice day so we decided to take a ride in the Jeep with the top down.

Danzig loves car rides but the faster we went the flatter his ears became. All that extra wind resistance must have tickled.

He was a super good boy and we had a great time.

Herding my new toy

Danzig had a blast playing with the remote control Jeep today.

He was herding it all around the yard, just like it was a sheep.

It was a hoot to see him sneak around the back side and nip at it's rear bumper.

Here he's seconds away from a successful catch.

Would have been a fun video, I'll have to think of that next time before the battery dies.

The Worlds Largest...

Last weekend we headed to the Quinault Rain Forest in search of the Worlds Largest Spruce tree. It's about 1,000 years old, 191 feet tall and over 58 feet in circumfrence.

And look what we found.

There were so many beautiful sights along the way.
